What happened here, age gap issues?

When I was 21-24 I was never interested in a younger man or even a man my own age, at that time they seemed so immature, like many were not wanting to have anything real and just out for kicks. I am now 28. About 6 months ago I met this guy, who come to find out is 21, and granted his musical taste and friends are out of my scope and realm. I suddenly realized, am I a cougar in training, lol. UHG. What about men at age 21, do they go for women 7+ years older than them? If you have experience in this realm, what problems have arose?
