He's showing preference for a single caretaker, and that actually IS a good sign. He needs that right now, and when he starts to become more secure that his needs are being taken care of, he'll start to slowly but surely let you in. My daughter did not behave this severely for this long, but she preferred Daddy at first. It is hard. When he goes to Daddy to have a need met, Daddy needs to VERBALLY say, while handing him to you, "Mommy is good at feeding you. She will take care of you." Daddy should certainly also keep meeting his needs a lot of the time now, too, but it will help your son to see that his trusted Daddy trusts you and help your son to gain trust in you. With both kids, be affectionate, never raise your voice, show them that you will be there whatever they throw at you. Hang in there. Take care of yourself emotionally and physically. If these problems persist, or at least don't start improving with what you're doing on your own, within a few months, seek professional help.

Can I take medication once everyother day?

I got off Poraxatine (Paxil) for about a month. I'm starting to go back down to where I was when I started getting panic attacks and such. I don't really panic full out because I can calm myself down it's just that I have a constant pressure in my head all day and it makes me feel light headed and somewhat like a dizziness. It makes me focous on it 24/7 because I worry even when I'm not thinking about anything. I used to be on the lowest dosage (10mg a day) and then I went down to (5mg a day) then I fully got off of it. I was fine for about the month I was off of it. I didn't have a bad withdrawl or anything. I actually felt a little better than usual.. For these past 2 days it really caught up to me. I'm thinking over and over about the dizziness I have in my head. My mom also gets the same pressure and dizziness in her head also but she just learnt how to cope with it. As I'm young I just can't cope properly since I have school and it just makes me stressed out thinking if I'm going to get dizzy at any moment. I want to get back on my pills to help out but I don't want to be taking one every day because it made me have like a really happy feel and I didn't really like it but it helped me out a lot with my panic attacks, pressure and light headedness feeling I always get. Will it be alright to take 5mg every other day? Or should I just go back to my regular 5mg a day or 10mg a day?

My boyfriend just broke up with me after 4 years and Im really going crazy. I made him my world. He was and is my everything. How Do I Cope After A Good Friend's Death?

My good friend, Rachel Susowski, just died. She'd been puking up this white **** and had been in the hospital for 3 weeks already. I assume you are talking Celsius here. Is there no way to get a fan into the classrooms? We do not have air conditioning in all of our classrooms either and it can become really difficult to concentrate when it is very hot. If all else fails I suggest making a small fan out of folded paper. It seems like nothing, but it does help slightly and sometimes slightly is all that is needed. Also, a wet cold cloth on the back of the neck, combined with the fan can feel really good. Hope this helps some. Perhaps everyone can chip in and buy a window fan.

Trying to cope with something that happened thirty years ago (and bring my family closer together again)?

In 1981, my eight-year-old brother Andrew was kidnapped by a family acquaintance and held hostage for three weeks. During this time, he was routinely beaten and sexually abused by his captor. He was also burned with boiling water and forced to listen while his captor made crank calls to our family pretending to be the police, telling us that Andrew had been found. He was rescued after three weeks. It had taken that long to track him down because his captor had them moving around all the time. It's strange to me how a period of time as short as three weeks could destroy so many lives, and leave so many still broken after thirty years. Andrew's body recovered from the trauma, but his mind never healed. The Andrew that came back to us was not the Andrew we had previously known. Before the trauma, Andrew was very social and outgoing. We were only two years apart and always very close. I never had any other brothers or sisters. He was a sweet little boy with a good sense of humor, and, being an older sister, I teased him constantly. Not meanly, but in a playful way. He is the most ticklish person to ever walk planet Earth, and as a little kid he loved it when I tickled his feet. We wrestled and play-fought and just enjoyed being with each other. When he came back, everything changed. Andrew had always been close to me and my parents also, but after he came back he acted like he couldn't even stand the sight of us. I could never understand that. I thought he should be happy to be back with us, people who loved him. He told me when he was older that I was a stranger to him and that there was a gulf separating him from everyone else. He was resentful that other people hadn't been where he had been. When he first came back and started beng like that, I tried so hard to bring him back. I tickle-attacked him like I used to and even though he squirmed and laughed just the same, he didn't enjoy it at all. He wouldn't wrestle either, and didn't seem to want to be around me at all. He did well in school and never had issues with drugs and alcohol, he's been successful in life and has a wife and kids, but for the past thirty years you can tell that something in him is just gone. Large puddle under my car/fluid all over inside?

I drive a 2002 mercury cougar and when i arrived at work today i noticed a large puddle of yellowish foam/liquid under my car. Upon inspection the stuff was sprayed all about the undercarriage as well. When i opened the hood the coolant reservoir cap was blown off but still intact and functional. Where it was there is a lot of the yelloy foam and the fluid was very low/almost out. I filled it with about 3 20oz water bottles and after the second one it stayed in the reservoir and none had leaked on the ground. Any help on what happened would be great and i need to know if it will be ok to drive about 50 miles home if not leaking. Thanks!
